What Is a Private Table?
A Private Table is reserved exclusively for your booking, so unrelated guests are not seated at your table.
- Dinner and Bosphorus cruise
- Turkish Night Show
- Unlimited soft drinks
- 2 alcoholic drinks per person
- Private table for your booking
Private Table describes table privacy. It does not mean a private yacht, private cruise, private dining room, guaranteed window table, Stage-Front positioning or an exact table location.
How Much More Does a Private Table Cost?
Private Table costs €30 more per person than Shared Soft and €20 more per person than Shared Alcoholic at the regular listed prices.
For two adults, Private costs €60 more than Shared Soft or €40 more than Shared Alcoholic. These comparisons use regular listed prices before alternative payment offers.
The useful question is not simply whether €75 is expensive. It is whether having your own table is worth another €20 per person compared with Shared Alcoholic, or €30 per person compared with Shared Soft, for your particular evening.
Is the Dinner Different With a Private Table?
The standard dinner structure is not upgraded simply because you choose a Private Table.
The regular menu includes a meze selection, salad, choice of main course, dessert, tea and coffee. Main-course choices may include fish, chicken shish, meatballs and a vegetarian option.
Unlimited soft drinks · No alcohol
Unlimited soft drinks · 2 alcoholic drinks per person
Unlimited soft drinks · 2 alcoholic drinks per person
If comparing Shared Alcoholic (€55) with Private (€75), the main package difference is the private table—not a larger standard alcoholic-drink allowance.
See the Menu Guide and Drinks Guide for the complete practical details.
How Different Does a Private Table Feel?
The observable difference is control over who shares your table, not a separate cruise environment.
Shared seating
- More social table arrangement
- May involve sitting with other guests
- Lower package price
- Suitable when exclusivity is not important
Private seating
- Table reserved for your booking
- Easier for your party to converse among itself
- More defined personal space at the table
- Higher package price
The rest of the vessel remains shared. Guests from all table categories experience the same overall cruise environment and entertainment program.
Does a Private Table Give You a Better View?
Not automatically.
A regular Private Table guarantees table privacy according to the package category, not a specific window position or Stage-Front location. Guests prioritizing closer positioning to the performance area should compare the Stage-Front Private Table option.
The scenery changes throughout the cruise, and exact landmark visibility from a particular table cannot be guaranteed. Guests can also use the outdoor deck for sightseeing and photographs.
Read the Seating Guide and Best Seats Guide for more context.
Shared or Private Table for Couples?
Couples can choose either category according to price and table privacy.
Shared can make sense when keeping the price lower matters most, the couple is comfortable with shared seating and the cruise, dinner and entertainment are the priority. Private can make sense when the couple specifically wants its own table, is planning an anniversary or date night, and values a defined table for two more than the additional cost.
Neither choice is mandatory. The Couples Guide explains the wider evening experience.
Shared or Private Table for Families?
Families can use either category. Shared can suit families primarily focused on price, while Private can simplify the arrangement because the table is reserved for the booking.

Shared or Private Table for Groups?
Shared Tables can work for groups when budget is the main priority and table exclusivity is not essential. Private Table is more relevant when the group wants seating reserved for its booking.
For larger groups, “Private Table” does not necessarily mean every guest can fit around one physical table. Depending on group size, vessel layout, table capacity and operations, the booking may use multiple adjacent or nearby tables. One continuous table is not guaranteed.
Read the Groups Guide for more group-specific considerations.
When Does a Private Table Make More Sense?
Private may fit your priorities if:
- You specifically do not want to share with unrelated guests.
- You are travelling as a couple or family and value your own table.
- Your group wants a defined seating area.
- Another €20 per person over Shared Alcoholic feels reasonable for privacy.
- Table privacy matters more than the lowest price.
Which Option Fits Your Priorities?
Swipe to compare →
| Your priority | Consider | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Lowest price | Shared Soft | €45 regular price with unlimited soft drinks. |
| Limited alcohol + lower price | Shared Alcoholic | €55 with two alcoholic drinks per person. |
| Own table | Private | Table reserved for your booking. |
| Closer to the show | Stage Front | Different package category designed for closer show positioning. |
| VIP menu + unlimited alcohol | VIP | Different package category with VIP menu and unlimited alcoholic drinks. |
What If You Want More Than a Private Table?
Private Table is not the highest table category. Show positioning and the upgraded food-and-drink package belong to separate options.
If table privacy is the main question, Shared versus Private is the relevant comparison. If show positioning or upgraded food and drinks matter more, Stage Front or VIP may be more relevant.
