Bosphorus Dinner Cruise Seating: Shared, Private & Stage-Front Tables
Understand the difference between Shared, Private, Stage-Front and VIP tables before choosing your Bosphorus dinner cruise in Istanbul.
Quick Answer
How Does Bosphorus Dinner Cruise Seating Work?
Your selected package determines your table category, rather than an exact numbered seat.
There are four practical seating experiences across the five regular packages: Shared Table, Private Table, Stage-Front Private Table and VIP Stage-Front Private Table. The two Shared packages differ mainly by drinks, not seating.
A table category is not a promise of a numbered seat, deck or position. Placement may vary by vessel layout, operational requirements and availability.
For the complete experience, read the Bosphorus Dinner Cruise Guide. Food and drinks are covered in the Menu Guide and Drinks Guide.
What Is a Private Table?
The €75 Private Table package reserves one table exclusively for the booking party for the evening.
Guests are not intentionally combined with unrelated parties at that reserved table. The package includes a Private Table, dinner, Turkish Night Show, Bosphorus cruise, unlimited soft drinks, two alcoholic drinks per person and hotel pickup from selected central Istanbul areas when available.
This option is useful for couples wanting their own space, families, friends, small groups and celebrations where sharing a table is not preferred.
What Does Stage Front Mean?
Stage Front means your private table is positioned closer to the Turkish Night Show performance area than the standard Private Table category.
The current price is €85 per person. It includes a Stage-Front Private Table, dinner, Turkish Night Show, Bosphorus cruise, unlimited soft drinks, two alcoholic drinks per person and hotel pickup from selected central Istanbul areas when available.
The main reason to choose Stage Front is show proximity. It is intended for guests who place more value on being closer to the performance area.
Important Positioning DetailExact seat position, a front-row table and an exact stage-side location are not guaranteed.
Vessel layouts and evening seating plans can vary. Stage Front defines the table category and relative show proximity, not an identical position on every departure.
What Is the VIP Stage-Front Table?
VIP combines the upgraded Stage-Front Private Table experience with the VIP food and beverage package.
At €125 per person, it includes a VIP Stage-Front Private Table, VIP menu, Bosphorus cruise, Turkish Night Show, unlimited soft drinks, unlimited alcoholic drinks and hotel pickup from selected central areas when available.
VIP is not simply “a better chair.” Its value combines table positioning with upgraded menu and beverage inclusions. It does not promise sofa seating, an exclusive room, a special deck, champagne, branded spirits or a guaranteed view.
Shared vs Private vs Stage Front
This table compares the five regular package categories. All include unlimited soft drinks, and prices are per person.

| Stage Front | €85 | Private · closer to show | 2 drinks | Private table positioned closer to performances |

Which Table Is Best for Couples, Families and Groups?
The most suitable table depends on whether your party values exclusivity, show proximity or the lowest regular price.
Couples
A Private Table is useful when couples want their own table without sharing. Stage Front may make sense when being closer to the entertainment matters more.
Families
A Private Table allows the family to stay together at its own reserved table. Children ages 3–8 receive the existing 50% child discount; ages 0–2 are free.
Groups
A private-table arrangement is generally easier for parties who want to sit together. Larger groups should communicate party size in advance because arrangements depend on vessel layout and availability.
Solo / Budget Travelers
A Shared Table may be the simplest option when exclusive seating is not important and you want the lowest-priced complete cruise experience.
Couples can review the Bosphorus Dinner Cruise for Couples, while parents can find practical details in the Family Dinner Cruise Guide. For larger groups, tell the team your accurate party size before booking; an arbitrarily large group cannot be guaranteed one physical table.
Does Your Table Affect the Bosphorus View?
Private or Stage-Front seating does not automatically guarantee a window-side or landmark-side view.
The route may include Dolmabahçe Palace, Çırağan Palace, Ortaköy, Bosphorus Bridge, Beylerbeyi Palace, Rumeli Fortress, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge and Maiden’s Tower.
During the approximately three-hour cruise from Dentur Avrasya Kabataş Pier, visibility depends on route, weather, vessel layout and where a guest is at a particular moment.
A window seat, unobstructed view, bridge-facing table or exact landmark-side position is not guaranteed. Travelers focused on positioning and photography should confirm what can be arranged.
Does Seating Affect the Turkish Night Show?
Yes. Your seating category can affect proximity to the Turkish Night Show performance area.
Stage Front and VIP Stage Front are intended for guests who value being closer to the entertainment. The program can include Whirling Dervish, Henna Ceremony, Caucasian Dance, Turkish Folk Dance, Gypsy Dance, Belly Dance Group, Solo Belly Dancer and DJ or party music.
Not every table has an identical sightline, and uninterrupted or eye-level visibility of every performance is not guaranteed.
The €10 difference between Private (€75) and Stage Front (€85) is primarily about positioning closer to the show rather than a different standard dinner or drink package. Both include unlimited soft drinks and two alcoholic drinks per person.
Seating Tips Before Booking
Use these practical checks to choose a table category without making assumptions about an exact position.
- Decide Whether Sharing Matters
- If having your own table is important, choose Private, Stage Front or VIP rather than Shared.
- Separate Show Position From Bosphorus View
- Stage Front refers to proximity to the entertainment area, not a guaranteed window seat.
- Book the Correct Package
- Table type is tied to the selected package, so compare the seating category before reserving.
- Tell Us Your Party Size
- Accurate guest numbers help with operational seating arrangements.
- Book Earlier for Important Occasions
- Private and Stage-Front categories may matter more for couples, anniversaries, birthdays or family evenings.
- Ask Before Assuming
- If a specific seating characteristic is essential, confirm what can actually be arranged rather than assuming an exact position is guaranteed.
