Which Istanbul Areas Include Free Hotel Pickup?

Free hotel pickup is currently available from selected hotels and locations in nine central Istanbul areas.

The main free-pickup zone covers Istanbul's central tourist districts on the European side. Coverage still depends on the actual hotel address, vehicle accessibility and operational conditions.

A district name is not a guarantee that a vehicle can stop directly outside every property. Pedestrian streets, narrow roads, restricted-access streets and temporary closures may require guests to meet at a nearby accessible main road or practical meeting point.

Available packages include Soft Drinks, Alcoholic Drinks, Private Table, Stage Front and VIP. Pickup eligibility remains subject to the reservation and operating conditions.

What Time Is Hotel Pickup?

Hotel pickups generally begin at approximately 19:15, but there is no single pickup time for every hotel.

Hotels are spread across different districts, Istanbul evening traffic varies, vehicles may collect several reservations, and road closures can change the sequence. Around 19:15 is therefore the approximate start of transfer operations; an individual pickup may be later.

Your pickup time should be treated as the confirmed meeting time once it has been communicated for your reservation. Be ready and reachable before that time rather than assuming every booking starts at 19:15.

Final vehicle or driver information may not be available far in advance because operational assignments can be finalized close to departure.

Is Return Transfer Included?

For reservations that include hotel transfer, return transportation is generally part of the pickup and drop-off service within the applicable transfer area.

The precise drop-off point can depend on traffic, pedestrian zones, road access, hotel location and vehicle restrictions. This means door-to-door access cannot be guaranteed for every address.

The regular cruise typically returns to the Kabataş area at approximately 23:45–00:00, although operational timing can vary. Guests outside the applicable zone should not assume a return transfer is included.

What If Your Hotel Is Outside the Pickup Area?

Guests staying outside the included central pickup area can self-arrive at Kabataş.

This is often simpler than forcing an unsuitable shared route. Depending on the location and circumstances, options may include a taxi, practical public transport, a separately arranged private transfer when available, or direct self-arrival at the pier.

Private transfer availability and pricing can depend on location, date, passenger count and vehicle requirements. No fixed universal price or guaranteed availability applies; contact the team to ask what can be arranged.

What About the Asian Side of Istanbul?

The regular free hotel pickup service does not cover the Asian side of Istanbul.

Guests staying on the Asian side should plan to self-arrive at Kabataş unless a separate transfer has specifically been confirmed. Crossing the Bosphorus by road during evening traffic makes shared pickup timing difficult to predict.

This is a logistical distinction rather than a criticism of Asian-side hotels. The practical rule is simple: do not assume pickup is included; arrange self-arrival unless another transfer has been confirmed.

Pickup from Galataport

Guests at or near Galataport are already close to Kabataş and can often reach the departure area without a hotel transfer.

Galataport is approximately a 10-minute walk from the Kabataş area, depending on the exact starting point and walking pace. Guests comfortable walking with light belongings may find self-arrival simpler.

Guests with mobility limitations, children, luggage or weather concerns may prefer a taxi or another suitable option. Taxi availability is not guaranteed, so allow for local conditions.

Traffic, Road Closures & Pickup Delays

Istanbul traffic can affect hotel pickup times, particularly during the evening.

Transfer routes may involve congestion, several hotel collections, pedestrian streets, temporary road closures, police or security restrictions, event traffic and inaccessible hotel entrances. A vehicle may therefore arrive later than the initial estimate.

Guests should remain reachable. When direct hotel access is impossible, a nearby accessible main-road meeting point may be used.

A delay does not necessarily mean the cruise has been missed because the operation is coordinated around the evening's guest route. Contact the team promptly if the vehicle has not arrived around the communicated time; an alternative vehicle or compensation cannot be guaranteed.
